ANAHEIM, Calif., June 28 (Our Los Angeles) — Disneyland Resort’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Anaheim reopened after state safety officials inspected the ride following an incident in which a 13-year-old guest exited a ride vehicle and slid down the attraction’s final roughly 50-foot drop.

Disneyland officials said cast members stopped the ride after the boy got out of the vehicle on Sunday, June 21, 2026. The resort said the boy was taken to a local hospital for precautionary evaluation and later released.

The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health, known as Cal/OSHA, inspected the attraction after the incident. Cal/OSHA spokesperson Katherine Wzorek told NBC News the inspectors “did not find any operational issues.”

Disneyland said the ride was closed for the rest of Sunday and reopened after the inspection.
